SDRN data scotland

The Scottish Diabetes Research Network Type 1 Bioresource (SDRNT1BIO) is a large and comprehensive collection of biosamples and electronic health care record data from 6,127 adults in Scotland with type 1 diabetes.

The SDRNT1BIO is a research collaboration involving researchers, clinicians and people with diabetes from across Scotland. The research team are based within the Institute of Genetics and Cancer at the University of Edinburgh.

Research using the SDRNT1BIO aims to understand the development of type 1 diabetes and related complications, and to investigate potential indicators of future complications in those identified as at risk.
